At Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Matthews, our experienced, compassionate veterinarians and board-certified specialists are an extension of your primary care veterinarian. We work together to provide the quality specialty and emergency veterinary care for pets in North Carolina.
Specialized Veterinary Care
We are staffed with highly-qualified specialists in many areas of veterinary medicine. Each of our specialists has completed at least three years of additional training beyond veterinary school and has passed rigorous examinations to become board-certified in their areas of specialization.

Emergency Care
We are a Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) Certified Level II Facility, a 24-hour acute emergency and critical care facility with the medical staff, personnel and training necessary to provide emergent and critical patient care.
