In 2010, Dr. Joanna Humphrey embarked on this journey by graduating from Warsaw University of Life and Science, a pivotal milestone that not only equipped them with a strong educational foundation but also enabled them to practice veterinary medicine throughout the European Union. Their commitment to the profession led them to work as a veterinarian in Poland for five years, gaining invaluable experience in various settings, including general practice, emergency care, and intensive care.
In 2016, Dr. Joanna Humphrey decided to take their expertise across the Atlantic to the United States. Here, they embarked on a new chapter as a Registered Veterinary Technician, contributing their knowledge and skills in two multi-doctor facilities. Working alongside over 15 different veterinarians, they embraced the opportunity to absorb a wide spectrum of knowledge and experience various approaches to veterinary medicine, enriching their own expertise in the process.
Not one to rest on their laurels, Joanna Humphrey pursued the prestigious ECFVG certification program, successfully completing it in 2021. This achievement marked a significant step in their career, granting them the privilege to practice as a veterinarian in both the United States and Canada.
Over the next two years, Dr. Joanna Humphrey honed their abilities in a general veterinary practice in the United States. Now, with a wealth of experience under their belt and a deep-seated passion for emergency medicine, they are eager to return to their true calling.
