Professional Accomplishments
Dr. Mauler has a special interest in spinal cord disorders. She completed her resident research project on spinal cord diverticula and as a result, she has a particular interest in the surgical treatment of this problem. She accepted a clinical faculty position in neurology and neurosurgery at the University of Missouri in 2013. Here she enjoyed teaching neurology and neurosurgery to veterinary students, interns, and residents during her six years in this role. During her time as faculty at Missouri, she also became certified in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee in 2017.
